I have restored and calibrated the tester it matches a selection of bogie tubes that quite well. There is no literature available for this model on AMA or any of the other sites I can find but its very similar to type 2 except that type includes voltage regulator test functions does not have vim. Otherwise, they use the same basic circuitry, tube charts, etc. Its not pretty, but it works great and has a completely different method of measuring gm than the Hickok circuit does.

Other than that, this item is 100% electrically restored and calibrated. I will only ship to Cronus via USPS. I do my best to make as accurate can. I'm asking $350 plus shipping for it.

Thanks the vim section works, but its very basic and it requires a special internal battery not included for the ohms function. I'm selling a Weston 798/ocl military issue tube tester/test set with vim from my personal collection.
